Conferences and Events
The events and conferences are meant to gather the ECBC members with key figures in the Egyptian and Chinese different business related fields to promote trade relations and increase efficiency. The council is to host as well as co-host events such as luncheons, seminars and workshops in Egypt as well as in China to discuss business issues and to present challenges met by the ECBC members.

This is to improve the bilateral business environment through practical and applicable recommendations. Such proposals and suggestions should then be forwarded to the relevant authorities to take action. Invitations and alerts should be sent out to the ECBC members promoting the luncheons and workshops and publicizing them within the business arena. Non-members should also be able to attend in return for higher fees. In fact, such events could be used as marketing tools to advertise the council’s mission and services and recruit more members

The ECBC should also organize and/or sponsor conferences covering the various business fields bringing Egyptian and Chinese companies/experts together. At the beginning of each year preliminary market research should be conducted scanning the market for the interesting topics and market issues needed to be covered to determine the types and topics needed to be covered in those conferences. It is encouraged to promote the major Egyptian conferences and trade fairs in China as well as the major Chinese conferences and trade fairs in China and coordinate travel packages for the members to facilitate the travel process, if required.
